On April 5, the 19th republican fashion competition-festival for young designers "AVANGARDAS 2025" will be held in Birštonas, bringing together the most talented young creators aged 11–19 from all over Lithuania. This year, the event is dedicated to the year of MK Čiurlionis, so the participants will interpret the artist's visions, his world of colors, lines and symbols in their collections.
Over 30 avant-garde collections, full of creative experiments and unexpected solutions, await the audience. The event will feature an art exhibition "Inspired by Čiurlionis" by Kaunas Art Gymnasium and Birštonas Art School, where young artists will express their impressions of Čiurlionis' work.
The festival will culminate with an awards ceremony, where a jury of fashion designers, artists and creative professionals will select and evaluate the strongest collections. "AVANGARD" is not only a competition, but also a unique platform for the young generation to showcase their talent, boldly experiment and present avant-garde and sustainable fashion.
