Beckett is a well-fed and happy cat who has no idea how lucky he is. The marmot, who only cares about himself, lives with the student Rože, who loves him madly. One day it happens that the cat loses its last, ninth life and goes to cat heaven.
Realizing that their happy life is over, Beckett begs to be taken back. Although the rules do not allow it, an exception is made for the cat: he is returned to earth and given nine lives again, but he will have to live each of his new lives as a different animal: a fish, a dog, a bee, a horse, a cockroach, and so on. However, Beckett has one goal - to return to his beloved mistress.
For a cat who considered himself the navel of the world, each new experience in the skin of different animals will become a real test and a great lesson about what friendship, love, sacrifice and gratitude are.
