Birštonas Museum invites adults and families on Saturdays during the tourist season
participate in open educational sessions.
Birštonas mineral water sources have been known since ancient times. The beginning of the establishment of the Birštonas resort is also associated with mineral waters, when in 1846 Benediktas Bilinskis, the doctor of the Stakliškii resort, who was interested in the springs of Birštonas, sent a patient here who was not helped by the healing springs of Stakliškii. The patient recovered in Biršton.
Birštonas spring water is still used for treatment and consumption. There are 13 operational mineral water wells on the territory of the resort. The oldest mineral water bottling company in Lithuania operates in Biršton. Natural mineral water has been bottled since 1924.

- you will learn about the mineral water sources currently located in Biršton;
- you will hear about mineral water extraction and bottling;
- you will learn about the healing properties of mineral water;
- mineral water tasting will take place at the end of the education.
