The exhibition reveals how, between the wars, Lithuanian artists liked to go on vacation, where the "capital of good mood" and "spiritual speculations" were restored. Especially in the summer, theatergoers were attracted to Birutė and Vytautas springs, healing mud and "coal" baths in the second most popular Lithuanian resort - Biršton.
The exhibition "Artist's Vacation Between the Wars: Resorts, Dune Goddesses and Rural Pleasures" consists of five related and complementary parts. The exhibition exhibits archival photos, letters, personal belongings - the main holiday attributes and costumes - testifying to the artists' holiday hobbies.
