"Improdimensija", which has become the cradle of top-class genre-free music, is coming to Birštonas to close the autumn season! The closing party will feature the brightest stars of today's Scandinavian free jazz and improvisational music - drummer Kresten Osgood and pianist Soren Kjaergaard. This duo will also be joined by "Improdimensijos" guide, saxophonist and Lithuanian free jazz and improvisational music giant Liudas Mockūnas.

Kresten and Soren are cousins who first stepped onto the stage back in 1992. in Oklahoma, USA. That's when, according to eyewitness accounts, two teenagers from Denmark showed what they are worth! Later, K. Osgood and S. Kjaergaard regularly met in different collectives, e.g. In Michael Blakes quartet Blake Tartare, in trio formats with bassists Thom Morgan, Hugo Rasmussen and Jon Westergaard, in The Motherfucking Trio with trumpeter Herb Robertson, and even in cult Danish hip-hop group Ikscheltaschel. These are relatives for whom gaming is a constant search for new experiences without being limited by any preconceived notions!

The duo of K. Osgood and S. Kjaergaard is a unique phenomenon not only in Scandinavia, but also in the context of modern and experimental jazz in Europe. In Biršton, this tandem will present a virtuoso musical performance, which will not lack either drama or comedy. It will be a story full of the most unexpected dramatic twists, which the listeners who have experienced will understand that the saying that we have already heard everything is false.

L. Mockūnas, the owner of impressive lungs and crazy ideas, will also join this story. Consistently working and actively participating in various musical projects, he has become one of the most essential personalities of the European improv scene, regularly performing in various corners of the world from the USA to Japan, with musicians such as Barry Guy, Mats Gustafsson, Agusti Fernandez, Marc Ducret, Christian Windfield and others. He is a very unique saxophonist with amazing playing technique and innovative ideas.
