Seventeen-year-old Derin learns that his girlfriend has a terminal illness. He decides to give her a lifetime of experiences in the remaining years that doctors predict she will live. "Life in a Year" is an American romantic drama about the trials and tribulations of young people who have to come to terms with a terminal illness and the inevitable approach of death.
