The movie "Stupid Money" tells a true story that happened at the beginning of 2021. Kytas Gilas, who had nothing to do with finance until now, decides to start investing. A guy uses all his savings to buy shares in GameStop, a struggling computer game store chain. Since the 21st century is just around the corner, Kytas turns the whole process into a video and uploads it to the Internet. For reasons that are completely inexplicable, his stories about investing become popular, and Kyto's followers also start buying GameStop stock. Noticing the strange activity in the stock market, Wall Street brokers decide that Christmas has come unexpectedly and bet huge sums that GameStop's stock will continue to decline in value (and they will eat up the profits in the event). Kyto's followers grow a hundredfold as news of the strange duel begins, and the value of GameStop stock, fueled by their investment, continues to soar. Meanwhile, millions are being lost on Wall Street... This competition is soon christened David's fight against Goliath and captures the attention of the whole world. It turns out that ordinary people can achieve incredible things when they focus on a common goal - even making the very center of the financial world sweat.
