Indrė, who recently started working at a psychiatric clinic, receives the task of transporting two patients from Vilnius to Palanga. Reluctantly agreeing, she goes to the beach with a motley company: Paulius, who is going through a manic phase of bipolar disorder, and Juste, who has withdrawn into herself.
Although completely different characters, they discover a connection and help each other fight their inner demons. Little by little, this seemingly easy summer trip turns into the first step towards recovery. Definitely not for everyone - just for good moviegoers. The debut of Marija Kavtaradze, the winner of the "Sidabrinė gervė" award, was recognized as the best film of the Baltic States and attracted great interest at international film festivals. In the film, which premiered at the sold-out screenings of the prestigious Toronto Film Festival, the main roles were created by rising young generation actors Gelminė Glemžaitė, Indrė Patkauskaitė and Paulius Markevičius. In a colorful and bright road movie, the topic of mental health is very important to all of us. Ambitious budding psychologist Indrė agrees to take two patients to the seaside clinic: Paulias, who suffers from bipolar disorder, and Justė, who is withdrawn. This summer trip becomes the first step towards recovery. It is a warm and touching story that - like summer - is full of light, surprises and hope that everything is possible...
