The performance is based on the play "Iron Age" by the Italian playwright Aldo Nicolaj (translated by Inga Tuliševskaitė).

Director: Rolandas Kazlas. Set designer: Elvita Brazdylytė.

Characters:
Liberas Boka - Rolandas Kazlas,
Luigis Lapalja - Evaldas Jaras,
Ambra - Vitalija Mockevičiūtė.

To put it simply, the play "Seniors" is a simple play about the extraordinary life of ordinary pensioners. The very title of the performance clearly suggests what it is about - old age. And who can say what and who she is, that old age? Comedy? A tragedy? Absurd? Nonsense? Or maybe the most important part of human life? Apparently, there are all kinds of old age, just like there are all kinds of people. For one it's a golden age, for another it's hell, for a third... the third one doesn't understand what happened to him and continues to live as he did: inside he's a twenty-year-old, and outside he's a sleepless young man. Fourth - can't wait for this nightmare to end, fifth - never had as much fun as now, sixth - it seems that everything is just beginning... "Judge a man by how he ends his days." There is probably a lot of truth in this saying.

According to Roland Kazlo, the director of the play "Seniors" and one of the actors: "I would like this play to give an ordinary pensioner more than a small pension. And even more so for the future senior. Although the heroes of the play are Italians, we would like an older Lithuanian audience to say or silently think to themselves: "this is about me", "I recognize a lot of things" or "this kind of performance is exactly what I needed right now".

The composition of the actors is truly impressive: three friends of the same generation, the same year, Vitalija Mockevičiūtė, Evaldas Jaras and Rolandas Kazlas, meet again after many years and, remembering their youth, welcome the approaching old age on stage. No one knows how old V. Mockevičiūta is, but the total age of the actors added together is quite solid: 165 years! A whole hundred more than the retirement age. So that the experience of delving into the world of seniors, the joys and sorrows of the heroes of old age, should be enough.

We invite all the old, those who want to grow old and the ageless to the Premier "Seniors"!

Old age can be escaped. Where? Even in the opposite direction of time: to childhood...
