Regulation: The competition is conducted by the Swiss system in 9 rounds. Thinking time: after 10 min. (plus 5 seconds for each move made) until the end of the game for each player.
It is played according to the FIDE rapid chess rules. The tournament is registered by FIDE - ratings will be calculated.
Participants: All chess players can participate in the tournament.
The entry fee is EUR 5, there is no entry fee for Birštonians
