We invite Birštonas residents and guests to a free event - a public lecture by Prof. Dr. Matilda Bylaitė-Bučinskienė's lecture dedicated to the prevention of skin cancer and melanoma.

The event is organized by the Center of Innovative Dermatology. The theme of the event is "It's not fashionable to have skin cancer!" The main goal of this event is to educate the public about the risks of skin cancer and the importance of early diagnosis.

Skin cancer and melanoma are insidious diseases that often develop unnoticed, but timely changes in the skin can save lives. At the event, you will learn how to perform a skin self-examination correctly, when it is necessary to contact specialists and what are the latest methods of skin cancer treatment and prevention. Each participant will receive practical advice that will help them stay alert and preserve their health.

The Center for Innovative Dermatology, together with the Birštonas municipality public health support special program, aims to inform and protect the community from the risk of skin cancer.
