Attention Birštonas residents and city guests – Birštonas bus station and parking lot near the "IKI" store will be closed for 2 months

The access to Vaižgantos Street from S. Dariaus and S. Girėno Streets will also be closed. It is planned that the reconstruction works of the lots will last 2 months. Residents are asked to remove cars parked in the lot near the "IKI" store by the end of March 12. People living on Vaižgantos Street will be able to access their homes from Algirdas and Vytautas Streets.
During the reconstruction works, the final stop for buses arriving and departing from Birštonas has been moved to Kęstučio g. 14, Birštonas, next to the Birštonas Sports and Wellness Center building (on the stadium side). The bus arrival and departure schedules remain unchanged.
After the reconstruction of the bus station and the parking lot at the IKI store, the traffic organization procedure will be changed - car traffic will not go through the lot, but through the current bus station area. The bus station area will be separated from car traffic by an island. Such a change will ensure more rational traffic movement, and the parking spaces in the lot will also be more optimally arranged, so it will accommodate significantly more cars.
