Christmas trees are leaving

Birštonians are invited to say goodbye to green scarves in an orderly manner, leaving them near the underground waste collection containers located near apartment buildings. The collected Christmas trees will be used for biofuel or taken to green waste composting sites. It is recommended to continue planting and growing potted Christmas trees, it is necessary to remove all decorations from discarded Christmas trees. We remind you that Christmas trees cannot be left in yards, by the streets, or placed in mixed municipal waste or packaging/recyclable containers.
