What does the Easter daisy pattern mean?
education
Printing daisies with hot wax is the very first educational activity of the Sacred Museum.
Since 2001 ten-year-old printer Anelė Danulevičienė (1923-2011) from Biršton shared the intricacies of the craft in the museum a week before Easter. Indeed, printing resembles art therapy, when you immerse yourself in the joy of creation, and the smell of wax, symbolic patterns and color combinations create a unique mood. Time seems to stop while creating, and the created beauty becomes a great gift for a loved one.
