Lithuanian resorts and resort areas presented themselves at the international tourism exhibition in Warsaw

This is one of the largest exhibitions in Europe - this year it was held for the first time at the exhibition center PTAK Warsaw Expo. More than 300 participants from 20 countries took part in the exhibition. More than 20,000 visitors visited the exhibition in three days.

Lithuanian resorts and resort areas and representatives of businesses operating in them presented the possibilities and potential of Lithuanian tourism at TT Warsaw. Here, tour operators, media representatives and visitors had the opportunity not only to get acquainted with tourist news, the most interesting ways of spending free time, to get to know the uniqueness of Lithuanian resorts, to receive special holiday offers, but also to taste Lithuanian delicacies.

Lithuania is a well-known and attractive tourist destination for the citizens of neighboring Poland, so a frequent visitor promised to visit here soon. Contacts with local partners were established during the exhibition, thanks to which it is expected to attract even greater flows of tourists from Poland.

The Lithuania resorts stand was also visited by the Minister of Economy and Innovation of the Republic of Lithuania Vincas Jurgutis, the head of the national tourism promotion agency Olga Gončarova and the Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania to Poland - Eduard Borisovas.

Rūta Kapačinskaitė, director of the Birštona Tourism Information Center, who participated in the exhibition, said: "For the past few years, we have been observing an increase in the flow of Polish tourists in Birštona. We see that tourists from this country usually stay in sanatoriums and spa hotels in Birštonas resort. in 2021 Polish tourists accounted for 2.5 percent. market share, and in 2022 - even 3 percent".
