Pet-friendly events are on the rise: one of them is this Saturday
A friendly space for four-legged friends at the festival "Būtent!" is provided by the company "Mars Lietuva", which produces pet food.
"It's great that the Būtent!" festival is open not only to discussions on various topics, but also to all participants, including our pets. In turn, we are always happy to contribute our efforts by creating pet-friendly spaces at this and other events. At the upcoming festival, we will invite owners and their pets to the space created by "Mars Lietuva", where classes, quizzes and prizes of the Academy of Responsible Owners will be held for children and not only. Meanwhile, our four-legged friends will be able to dine at the animal bar," says Mindaugas Rupšys, Head of Corporate Affairs at Mars Lietuva.
Arnas Marcinkus, one of the organizers of the "Būtent!" festival, notes that the idea of responsibility for animals is well received at the event, which aims to foster a culture of high-level debate.
"Būtent!" festival is a family-friendly event, where you can not only engage in serious discussions, but also take part in various recreational activities and have a fun and meaningful time. A pet-friendly space seamlessly complements our event - we notice that more and more people come to the festival with their pets every year. They are pleased that we are creating a special space for pets, and the young festival participants "grow up" by attending lectures and hearing professional advice on pet care. The more pet-friendly spaces are created in our environment, the better for four-legged friends and for us, because being tolerant of pets, we become more tolerant of each other," says A. Marcinkus.
The debate festival "Būtent!", which will be held for the fifth time this year, attracts thousands of participants to Birštonas every year. It is a free, open, non-political event where every visitor can find a speaker, expert, topic of interest or idea they care about. This year, the festival's discussion topics will touch on the relationship between culture and democracy, social networks, education, the fight against discrimination against foreigners, resistance to misinformation and other most pressing issues.
